A homeless Angelino begs for money and respect from a young businessman at the bus stop. This film was made in part of coursework torwards the M.F.A. of Film & Television Production at Loyola Marymount University.

Ditched - Short Film

William, a Wisconsin farmer, navigates the termination and death of Dennis as truths about their relationship arise in town. This film was the thesis project of the 2022 Digital Cinema Production certificate at UW-Madison and was directed by Darion Allen.

A timid student uses the internet to guide him through the process of asking a crush to the Winter Formal. This piece was written and directed by Darion Allen as part of coursework towards a M.F.A. at Loyola Marymount University.

Sickle Cell Warrior - Short Documentary

Sickle Cell Warrior is a short documentary that provides an introduction to sickle cell disease through the lens of my mother, Dana McCoy.  As we gain a glimpse into her daily life, Dana explores various aspects of the disease that are important for everyone to understand.

Go Outside - Short Film

Go Outside is an Avant-Garde (Experimental) short film written, directed, and edited by Darion Allen. This short piece is meant to evoke reflection on the cycles of society which work to keep people from slowing down to enjoy the details that lie in the intricacies of life itself. 

BLOW-UP  Scene Recreation

This is a non-dialogue recreation of a scene from the 1966 film Blow-Up, directed by Michelangelo Antonioni. The Directing and Directing of Photography for this scene was conducted by Darion Allen.
